Welcome to Momofundme! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Momofundme website ("Site") and services ("Services"). By using our Site and Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use the Site or Services.

1. General Terms

  • Momofundme is a crowdfunding platform that allows users to create campaigns and raise funds for various purposes.
  • By using our Site and Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have obtained parental consent to use the platform.
  • Momofundme reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting to the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Account Registration

  • To use certain features of the Site, you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to notify Momofundme immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

3. Campaign Creation

  • Users can create fundraising campaigns for personal, charitable, or business purposes, subject to approval by Momofundme.
  • You are solely responsible for all content you post on your campaign page. All information must be accurate, and no false or misleading information is permitted.
  • Campaigns must comply with applicable laws in Cameroon. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
    • Fraudulent or misleading campaigns
    • Promotion of violence or illegal activities
    • Violation of intellectual property rights

4. Donations

  • Donations made to campaigns on Momofundme are non-refundable unless explicitly agreed upon by the campaign owner.
  • Donors understand that their contributions are voluntary and that Momofundme does not guarantee the success of any campaign or the use of funds by the campaign owner.
  • Momofundme charges a small fee on each transaction, which helps maintain and develop the platform.

5. Fees and Payments

  • Campaign creators agree to pay applicable fees, including service charges and transaction fees.
  • All transactions on the platform are processed in local currency (Central African CFA franc - XAF), and payments are subject to Cameroon's financial regulations.

6. Prohibited Activities

  • Users agree not to engage in the following activities:
    • Posting or sharing unlawful or inappropriate content
    • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts
    • Interfering with the Site's operations or security
  • Any violation of these Terms may result in the suspension or termination of your account and, if necessary, legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Momofundme and is protected by intellectual property laws.
  • You may not use any of Momofundme's content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Momofundme is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Site or Services.
  • We do not guarantee that campaigns will meet their fundraising goals or that funds raised will be used for the intended purposes.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved under the laws of Cameroon.
  • Users agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation before seeking any legal action.

10. Termination

  • Momofundme reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, if you violate these Terms.
  • Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cameroon.
